The National Latino Communications Center is a media arts production resource center that supports, produces and syndicates Latino programming for public television. Its purpose is to empower Latinos in the US throughout the broadcast communications media. To that end, its mission is to:
  • provide to the nation quality programming which illuminates the diversity of the national Latino ethos through expressions of its arts, cultures and histories
  • provide a sustained institutional framework for expressing the Latino voice in the national and international film and communications industry and
  • provide training and related assistance to develop and support Latino media talent whose creative visions will transform the Latino experience into compelling images of a people.
